I think it’s better to say that businesses offer services and not the other way around. For instance, PrintRunner.com offers postcard printing services online while a spa offers massage services. Maybe, businesses need services because they have to ask help from other companies to complete a product requested by their customers. For instance, a printing company may ask others to do custom business cards since the former don’t have the equipment to do it.
